The HDMI 4x4 Matrix Selector Switch offers unprecedented flexibility and convenience by extending high definition audio/video from any of four HDMI sources to any four remote displays over single HDMI cables or two category 5e or category 6 cables. It allows any HDMI display to view any HDMI source at any time, as well as allows any HDMI source to be displayed on multiple HDMI displays at the same time. The 4x4 matrix switch includes four HDMI inputs and four HDMI/two category 5e or category 6 outputs. However, only one output format can be used at a time. The receiver unit includes one HDMI output and two category 5e or category 6 inputs, making it four receivers total. The transmission range for the two category 5e/6 outputs extends 1080p resolutions up to 130 feet, while the transmission range for the HDMI output extends 1080p resolution up to 50 feet. Each input includes an infrared emitter, which is used to control the source device by remote control, and display inputs can be switched using the included IR remote control or through the RS232 jack. This matrix switch supports high definition resolution 1080p, supports 12-bit per channel deep color (36 bit total0, supports uncompressed audio LPCM (Linear Pulse Code Modulation), as well as supports compressed audio DTS digital, Dolby digital (DTS-HD and Dolby true HD). It is also H.D.C.P. (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) compliant.
