Use lock-tight on the mount screws then tighten the mount screws to 5-10lbs. Mine is mounted over the bolt handle on it just clears the bolt and spent rounds, works fine there with no problems at all. I have a second on a 12 shotgun with no problems. A third works great on my 12 Inch telescope as a rough aim sight for the co-ax tracking scope.

To this day I use one on my 12ga pump shotgun. It has held up for 6 months now after being banged around in the woods and truck. Shot several times and still holds up on the pattern as it did when i set it up. Now I don't go out and beat it around on everything like it is a hammar but as far as shock from the gun itself, it hasn't thrown it off yet.I figured that it would be one of those get what you pay for deals but seems like to me its a pretty darn good sight. Getting ready to buy another one for my AK.

This site is great for the buy. I put it on my mossberg500 for turkey hunting. It mounts very easily and all the settings are more than bright enough for any use. I put the brightness to the highest level and put the sun to my back and my front and was still able to make out the reticle. I have no complaints about this site at all. I would recommend this site to anyone for any use.
