I favor matte colors and after I made a list of only the Gelish matte colors this was one of my first picks to buy. It is wonderful as a fall/winter color. Three coats looks best. I have been using the Gelish system for two weeks now after wearing acrylic and traditional gel nails for 24 years. Hands down (pun intended) this system is the best. My nails are growing faster and are so much healthier. Just the fact that the natural nail does not have to be heavily filed and there is no glue used is a huge plus. When I was wearing acrylic as an overlay on my natural nail, my natural nail would always pull away from the acrylic at the tip. This would always make my natural nail split and I would soak my acrylic off, cut all my natural nails down and return to a full set of glued on tips with the acrylic overlay.
