Just being reminded of this product angers me, but this review will likely be my only consolation.I purchased this bridge cue as an accessory to my first pool table. I wanted something that wouldn't break, or do damage to my table. I opted for this slightly more expensive bridge cue thinking it shouldn't be rocket science to remotely hold a cue a few inches off the bed of my table. I was wrong. The product is essentially a two piece cue, and a set screw style aluminum bridge. The cue is no different from any other. It has a ferrel with that will receive a screw on tip. It likely didn't pass some companies quality assurance standards, or maybe just got returned by a dissatisfied customer. The one I received was straight, but had a taper shaped more like an hourglass. Since it wouldn't had affected its function, I ignored it. The bridge is a drop forged piece of aluminum. I ordered the bridge with a lot of other pieces for our pool room. All other items arrived before scheduled delivery date. this item was the last to arrive and one of the last to ship. For that reason I only gave 3 stars. The bridge itself seems to be strong. We've used it and the kids haven't broken it yet so I'm happy with the purchase - just wish it had shipped a bit quicker. |
